Contract Sales Representative - Dallas, TX


Position Summary:

Kravet is seeking a strong sales presence in Dallas to focus on our Hospitality and Contract side of the business. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, enjoys entertaining and has a passion for design, interiors and the hospitality space.


Key responsibilities:

  • Call, visit, and connect with current customers throughout Dallas.
  • Maintain and grow relationships within the contract industry; Attend events and tradeshows
  • Forge New relationships
  • Entertaining clients outside of the office to build deeper relationships
  • Schedule and give product presentations to increase sales and optimize brand presence.
  • Ensure all appropriate brands and product categories are properly represented in our customer’s offices and projects.
  • Generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.
  • Project selling means selling multiple brands and categories of products to customers, including furniture, carpet, wallcovering, lighting, fabric, and trim.
  • Assist clients with design schemes for all products with consistent follow-through.
  • Strengthen existing customer relationships measured by increased activity and monitored through our CRM technology, including maintaining customer contact records.
  • Maintain customers’ book libraries and memo sample bins.
  • Work to prepare targeted monthly sales plans.
  • Partner with our showrooms to maximize opportunities across contract accounts.
  • Assist with some administrative duties such as order follow up, scheduling, and outreach initiatives.


Job requirements

  • Previous outside sales experience in the interior design industry.
  • Previous contract sales experience.
  • Shows strong follow-through and a good sense of building a business.
  • Furniture and floor covering knowledge is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CRM technology is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Displays a sincere interest in design and wants to further succeed in the industry.
  • Compensation shall be based on Salary and Growth Incentives. Pay range: $80,000 to $100,000
