Position summary:

Kravet, Inc., one of the leading international fabric and fine furnishings companies, is currently looking for an Interior Designer to join our Corporate Showroom Visual Merchandising Department as a Visual Merchandising Interior Designer.


This position offers the opportunity for the ideal candidate to help manage the national brand images in 36 Corporate Showrooms for our Kravet, Lee Jofa, Brunschwig & Fils and Donghia brands. The primary responsibilities are working with our corporate team and showroom managers to design showroom interiors that function as both inspiring designs and merchandising sales tools, and coordinating the installations of these interiors. This includes creating furniture plans, and selection of fabrics, upholstered furniture, case goods, lighting, draperies, wallpaper, wall upholstery and accessories.


The position requires a well-rounded individual with the ability to manage deadlines and installations while communicating effectively and diplomatically with our corporate team and showroom managers. The position also requires the ability to write up and work with our team to process the orders required for the projects, and work within our internal computer systems.


Job requirements

  • 3-5 years of Interior Design experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to analyze sales data and inventories
  • Ability to write up design orders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently
  • Well organized
  • Detail oriented
  • Travel required throughout the United States and Canada
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets required
  • Salary range: $65,000-75,000
