Position summary:

The intern position offers qualified individuals the unique opportunity to assist the Lee Jofa Product Development team in the NYC studio. This is an onsite up to 3 month position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design and development of printed and woven textiles, wallcoverings, and trimmings for high end residential interiors

  • Find inspiration images and create mood boards

  • Create visual presentation decks of our collections in Google slides

  • Cut, check, and label first production as yardage comes in

  • Create color palettes for future textile collections

  • Curate our best seller walls

  • General studio organization

Job requirements

  • Degree in Textile Design is preferred

  • Strong color sensibility and creativity

  • Interest in home textile design

  • Proficiency in Google workspace

  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus 

  • Self motivated and not afraid to ask questions

  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

  • Pay range $16- $16.50 per hour.
