Position summary:

Kravet seeks a Designer for Lee Jofa and Lee Jofa Modern brands. This role will work closely with the Design Director, VP of Design and Creative Director in all aspects of design and development for all product categories (prints, weaves, wallpapers and trimming) for the Lee Jofa and Lee Jofa Modern brands. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in textile design and the luxury home furnishing industry, a passion for color and design, and excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities: 

• Assist in executing the creative direction and product selections for all collections (approx. 15 per year).

• Assist with product sourcing from vendors.

• Develop layouts and color work for new product.

• Work with the order entry team to initiate and finalize paperwork for ordering new collections.

• Managing the standard approval process for vendors and studio.

• Responsible for the approval of all new product submits from suppliers.

• Responsible for the design, development and production of custom products.

• Collaborate with corporate merchandising and marketing teams on new collection launches.

• Specifying product sampling for sales meeting presentations.

• Assisting in the creation of the presentations for Kravet’s corporate sales meetings.

• 3-5 years of experience in textile design and/or the luxury home furnishings industry.

• Bachelor’s degree in textile design.

• Excellent design and color sense.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Adobe Suite, and AVA.

• Strong time management, communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask.

• Salary Pay Range: 70,000 - $85,000
