About the role:
Kravet seeks a candidate for a new Brand Ambassador position located at Interiors Trading Company, a leading furnishings to the trade showroom in Tampa, FL. The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for working with interior designers on all facets of product selections, quoting and order placing for their projects. This role is five days a week, Monday - Friday, working out of the showroom.
The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for maintaining the displays for Kravet product lines and brands - furniture, fabrics, trimmings, wallcoverings, and carpets. Also you will be working with the area road representative and may be asked to visit local area accounts occasionally to assist the road representative. Customer outreach to build brand awareness and encourage visits to the showroom is essential with this role.
The Brand Ambassador must be comfortable working in an active to the trade environment, be energetic, detail-oriented and capable of scheming an interior design project.
Success in this role requires working with diverse personalities and influencing the product selection thereby increasing sales. It is essential to develop close professional relationships with interior designers to understand their business needs.
Job requirements
Able to listen intently and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in retail home furnishings sales and/or interior design and sales is preferred.
This job is in an active environment requiring the employee to stand and walk, reach and lift.
Pay range: This is an hourly role and is estimated to pay between $59,000 - $64,000 annually. This consists of an annual base of $50,000 to $55,000, plus a monthly incentive bonus which is based on showroom sales
